1. About these terms
These terms apply to your use of devsign8.com, run by Devsign8, a creative agency in Markham, Ontario, Canada. Our services are intended for businesses and professionals. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
When you hire Devsign8 for a project, the written proposal or quote for that project governs the work. If it conflicts with these terms, the proposal wins.
2. Using the site
You may browse the site and share links to it. Please don't misuse it: don't attempt to break or overload it, gain unauthorized access, copy it in bulk, or use it for anything unlawful.
3. Free website audit
The free website audit is general guidance based on the information you give us and what we can see on your public website. It is free, carries no obligation, and is not a guarantee of any result. We aim to send it within 24 hours, but timing can vary.
4. Discovery calls
Discovery calls are booked through Cal.com, and Cal.com's own terms apply to the booking page. Please use the reschedule or cancel link in your confirmation email if your plans change.
5. Quotes and projects
Every project starts with a written proposal or quote that sets out the scope, deliverables, timeline, price, payment schedule, number of revision rounds, and what happens if the project is cancelled. Unless it says otherwise, a quote is valid for 30 days.
Prices, timelines and ranges mentioned on the site (for example "most websites launch in 3 to 6 weeks") are typical examples, not binding offers.
6. Your materials
If you give us text, images, logos or other materials for a project, you confirm that you have the right to use them and to let us use them for your project.
7. Ownership of project work
Unless your proposal says otherwise, ownership of the final deliverables transfers to you once you have paid in full. Third-party assets, such as licensed fonts, stock images and plugins, remain subject to their own licences. We may show completed work in our portfolio unless you ask us in writing not to, and we never show your confidential information.
8. Website templates
The template demos on this site use fictional brands, sample content and licensed stock images for illustration only. The brand names shown in them, such as OCTAVE, AXION, Maison Aurélie and Solana Cove, are made up for the demos and are not affiliated with any real business that uses the same name. When you buy or commission a template, the terms of that purchase are provided at the time and apply to it.
9. Our content
The site's text, graphics, logos, designs and code belong to Devsign8 or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce or reuse them without our written permission, except as the law allows.
10. No guarantees
We work hard on every project, but we can't guarantee specific results such as search rankings, traffic, AI citations, leads or revenue, because they depend on many factors outside our control. The site itself is provided "as is" and may occasionally be unavailable or contain errors.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Devsign8 is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of the site. For project work, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service that gave rise to the claim.
12. Links to other websites
We link to other websites, such as our booking page and social media profiles. We aren't responsible for their content or practices.

14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Ontario.
